A leading player in the supply chain industry is recruiting multiple Warehouse Operatives for its Haydock Distribution Centre. You will be responsible for fulfilling customer orders by selecting and preparing products for shipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Working in ambient, chilled or freezer environments (PPE and additional breaks provided)
Reviewing order requirements
Picking products using hand scanners
Operating manual handling equipment (pallet trucks, PPTs, trolleys)
Loading vehicles for delivery
Keeping the work area clean and safe
Collaborating with team members to meet daily targetsRequirements:
Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred
Positive, “can-do” attitude
PPT experience (valid licence desirable)
Willingness to work in chilled or freezer areas
Understanding of Health & Safety standards
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Good literacy and numeracy
Ability to work as part of a team
Must pass a drug and alcohol test and a DBS check
