Successful candidate for the position of Commercial Heating Service Engineer should ideally be commercially qualified, able to work effectively independently, dedicated and flexible in approach. Offered as a permanent contract, the role of
Commercial Heating Service Engineer provides competitive salary range dependent upon experience and immediate start available.
Commercial Heating Service Engineer duties and responsibilities include:
* Servicing, inspections, diagnosing problems/faults/leaks, testing, repair and maintenance of commercial heating systems. This includes boilers, water heaters, pumps and associated equipment
* Attendance to fault finding of gas appliances and systems
* Identify hazards, defects and the need for replacement, adjustment or repair
* Carry out planned tasks in accordance with contract/agreed requirements on services and associated systems
* Carry out tasks within agreed time limits
* Ensure compliance to agreed codes, legislation, and procedures including health and safety
* Maintain accurate records/documentation associated with your work
* Immediately report problems/failures that may impact on the organisation and/or its clients/customers to Line manager
* Meet your targets and contribute to those of the team as a whole
* Contribute towards the smooth running of the team
* Adhere to all organisation policies and procedures
Skills/Qualifications required by Commercial Heating Service Engineer:
* Commercial Gas qualifications (essential)
* Experience of controls and electrics (desirable)
* Must have a full driving licence (maximum of 6 points)
* Must be pro-active and able to work under own initiative
* Must be prepared to take part in the company call out rota
* Reliable, dedicated and possess high attention to detail
Location: Oldbury, West Midlands
Hours: Mon to Thurs 8 am – 4.30 pm, Fri 8 am – 4 pm (39.5 hours per week)
Salary: £35,000 p.a. to £47,000 p.a. dependent upon experience
