The Clinical Lead supports the Registered Manager in ensuring high-quality care delivery across all clients. They provide clinical guidance to Care Coordinators, supervise field operations, and share on-call responsibilities with the Registered Manager. This role acts as a key advisory and escalation point for Care Coordinators.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support Care Coordinators during client visits and care delivery.
* Conduct spot checks and assessments of field staff performance.
* Ensure care plans are implemented according to client needs and standards.
* Escalate clinical concerns to Registered Manager as required.
* Provide guidance on complex client cases, care plans, and clinical decisions.
* Mentor Care Coordinators and support professional development.
* Act as the first point of contact for coordinators needing clinical advice.
* Alternate on-call coverage with Registered Manager.
* Handle urgent field incidents, clinical escalations, and emergency situations.
* Maintain documentation of all on-call interventions and escalate as required.
* Ensure all care operations meet CQC standards and internal policies.
* Participate in audits and review staff performance.
* Ensure proper reporting of incidents, accidents, and client feedback.
* Reports on field visits and care quality assessments and Staff performance observations
* Provide advisory notes and recommendations to Registered Manager for operational
* improvements.
For this role, we are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse, with an active PIN (NMC Registered) who has experience in clinical community care and knowledge of CQC standards and UK care regulations. You will need to be a driver with your own vehicle.
This role would be hybrid, with the ability to work from home as well as the need for being in the office three days a week
