Work Pattern;- Thursday and Friday during term time. Classed are 9.30am - 3.30pm working hours can either be 8.30am - 4.30pm or 9am - 5pm.

Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver exciting cookery lessons that are both educational and enjoyable.
Assess students and provide tailored information, advice, and guidance to support their learning journey.
Promote positive attitudes towards learning and attendance.
Develop Individual Learning Plans to meet diverse student needs.
Create a variety of high-quality learning resources, including the use of ILT and Moodle.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
Promote health, safety, and well-being in the kitchen environment.
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Proven experience in teaching or training, particularly in cookery or related fields.
Strong understanding of diverse teaching strategies to foster active learning.
Excellent communication skills and a passion for student engagement.
Ability to assess student needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
Commitment to promoting health and safety standards in a kitchen setting.
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Qualifications in teaching (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed) or relevant culinary certifications.
Experience using digital tools and platforms for teaching and assessment.
Previous experience working with adult learners or in community education settings.
