A Tier 1 contractor is hiring for a Façade Manager for a 8 month duration on a new build 34 storey resi block in South East London.
About the role of Façade Manager:
The role will be managing the façade package, working alongside an on-site Project Lead. The Façade consists of mostly of Unitised Facade so this experience is crucial. The project is worth circa £85m.
Responsibilities for the Façade Manager:
Strong people management skills, experience in leading large teams, including solid technical knowledge of short-term programming, construction methodology.
Experience managing all phases of facade packages, including health and safety, quality, and costs
Knowledge of facade design, detailing, and structural design standards, as well as experience designing facades for different types of projects
Understanding of facade materials, manufacturing methods, installation, and testing
Ability to communicate effectively with architects, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders, and to present design concepts clearly
Working with other professionals, such as engineers and architects, to achieve project objectives
Oversee day-to-day operations on construction sites. Making sure all health & safety protocols are in place.
Manage risks, with any issues that arise are solved promptly and efficiently.Requirements of the Role:
