Shunter Driver

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Shunter Drivers to join our client in Bridgwater. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for stable and full-time hours with competitive pay.

Shift Pattern:
6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Pay Rate:
£16.25 – £17.77 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Safely manoeuvring vehicles within the yard
Coupling and uncoupling trailers
Ensuring vehicles are positioned correctly for loading and dispatch
Conducting routine vehicle checks and reporting any defects
Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
Requirements:

Valid Class 1 (CE) HGV Licence
Valid CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi) Card
Good awareness of health and safety procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail
