An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading advanced manufacturing business specialising in high-performance carbon fibre components for the automotive and motorsport sectors. As part of this expansion, they are now looking to recruit a Kit Cutter to join their late shift production team.
The Role:
• Cutting composite kits using CNC cutting machinery in line with production schedules
• Ensuring materials are prepared and ready for laminating teams on the following shift
• Managing workload effectively to meet production targets and deadlines
• Maintaining equipment, ensuring it is checked, serviced, and operating correctly
• Completing all relevant production documentation accurately and on time
• Working closely with supervisors and other departments to ensure smooth workflow
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Identifying and escalating any issues relating to materials, quality, or production
Skills & Experience Needed:
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (composites experience advantageous)
• Experience operating CNC cutting machinery or similar equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work to tight deadlines
• Able to work independently and manage workload on a shift basis
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to escalate issues when required
