Job Description:
Duties & Responsibilities
Vehicle Operation & Daily Compliance
* Drive and operate an HGV Class 2 (Category C) recycling collection vehicle safely and efficiently.
* Carry out thorough daily vehicle checks at the start, during, and end of each shift; report any defects immediately and do not operate unsafe vehicles.
* Collect (for pub/club routes) from designated commercial customers including pubs, restaurants, bars, hotels, and local authority collection points.
* Operate binlift equipment and handle containers safely, ensuring correct loading and load security.
* Ensure bin store areas are left clean, tidy, and free from hazards after collections.
* Transfer/tip collected materials at designatedsites i n line with routing instructions and site operational procedures
* Follow all internal safety procedures and sitespecific requirements.
* Report any accidents or incidents involving vehicles, equipment, yourself, or third parties as soon as safely possible.
* Interact courteously and professionally with customers, representing the company in a positive manner.
Key Skills and Competencies
* Hold a valid HGV Category C licence and drivers CPC
* Good customer service skills
* Good communication skills
* Ability to work well autonomously

£34000.00 - £35000.00 per year
