We are currently recruiting experienced Fabricators / Workshop Operatives for a busy workshop-based project in St Helens, specialising in the fabrication of aluminium housings and boxes.
This is an excellent short-term opportunity offering competitive hourly rates and plenty of hours for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities
* Fabrication of aluminium housings and enclosures to specification
* Operating workshop machinery including:
* Guillotines
* Press brakes / folders / bending machines
* Use of hand tools for assembly and finishing
* Tacking components together ready for coded welders
* Reading and working from technical drawings
* Ensuring high standards of quality and accuracy
* Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
Requirements
* Proven experience in fabrication (aluminium preferred)
* Experience operating guillotines, press brakes, or similar machinery
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
* Reliable and able to work to deadlines
