The successful Tooling Engineer will be joining an innovative organisation who can offer a defined career path and further personal progression.
The Tooling Engineer will be responsible for managing tooling on time and to budget.
Further responsibilities will include:
*Delivering tooling, from initial concept and design through to series manufacturing
*Sourcing new tooling suppliers and leading Value for Money studies.
*Generate detailed project plans and forecast tooling spend
* Monitor, identify and resolve problems with tool manufacturing
* Ensure Tooling is managed within budget and to agreed timescales
*Co-ordinate tooling reviews, trials and tool buy off.
Ideally candidates will be Degree or HNC/HND qualified and have a solid understanding of injection moulding tooling technologies and all aspects of tool design through to series manufacturing.
The successful Tooling Manager will have previously managed tooling from sourcing through to production readiness.
