The Role:
As a Senior Estimator, you will be a key part of the pre-construction team, responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for refurbishment projects. This role offers a mix of office-based work in Brentwood with some flexibility to work from home.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing cost estimates for Decent Homes and Retrofit projects
* Managing the tender process from initial enquiry through to submission
* Engaging with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations
* Assessing risks and opportunities within each bid
* Working closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
What They’re Looking For:
* Proven experience as an Estimator within a main contractor environment
* Strong knowledge of Decent Homes, Planned Maintenance, and Retrofit projects
* Ability to price projects up to £5 million
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills
* Proficiency in estimating software and Excel
* A team player with a keen eye for detail
