Key Responsibilities and Duties:
* Instruction & Curriculum: Delivering engaging lessons on scientific concepts and adapting material to student abilities.
* Laboratory Management: Preparing, conducting, and supervising safe, hands-on scientific experiments and demonstrations.
* Assessment & Evaluation: Grading assignments, exams, and projects, and identifying students who need additional academic support.
* Classroom Management: Maintaining a positive, safe, and orderly learning environment, including enforcing safety protocols for chemicals and equipment.
* Communication & Collaboration: Working with colleagues to improve curriculum, communicating with parents regarding student progress, and participating in staff meetings.
Key Skills and Requirements for Science Teacher
* Knowledge: Expertise in subjects such as physics, biology, or chemistry, usually requiring a bachelor's degree.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and integrating technology into lessons.
