How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We are seeking a highly capable Control Systems Test & Validation Engineer - HV Systems to contribute to the development of advanced battery technologies used across a range of innovative electrification programmes. This role sits within a fast‑moving engineering environment where rigorous testing, robust controls, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving are essential.

The Control Systems Test & Validation Engineer - HV Systems will:

A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Controls, or a closely related discipline.
Proven experience developing and operating MiL/SiL/HiL environments, including test automation and infrastructure maintenance.
Strong capability in producing and executing verification and validation plans for embedded control systems.
Excellent documentation skills to support software deployment, production release and certification processes.
A solid understanding of battery control systems including supervisory logic, BMS and CMUs, with the ability to diagnose issues through system behaviour analysis.
A collaborative approach with the ability to influence stakeholders across all organisational levels.
The Control Systems Test & Validation Engineer - HV Systems will:

Experience producing calibration/tuning sets and preparing production‑ready software parameters.
Ability to develop HMIs, GUIs or interactive tools for operating HiL rigs and test environments.
Understanding of dynamic modelling and its application to real‑time test harnesses.
Familiarity with CAN, LIN, Ethernet and associated diagnostic/logging tools.
Knowledge of software calibration workflows, version control and release processes.
Experience with functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262) and certification frameworks across automotive, marine, aerospace and industrial sectors.

If you thrive in a fast‑paced, innovative environment and enjoy taking ownership while driving meaningful technical progress, this role offers the opportunity to shape next‑generation battery control technologies.
