HGV Technician – Portsmouth
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per year
Shifts: Various shifts available

Join a reputable HGV dealership in Portsmouth with multiple depots across Southeast England. We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic to perform high-quality servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and trailers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Service, maintain, and repair HGVs and trailers to DVSA standards

* Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and manual checks

* Carry out MOT preparations and inspections

* Repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components

* Complete accurate job cards and maintenance records

* Support the workshop team and minimise vehicle downtime

* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment

Requirements:

* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair

* Proven HGV Technician experience

* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

* Flexible, safety-conscious, and team player

Desirable:

* HGV Class 1 or 2 Licence

* MOT Tester qualification
