HGV Technician – Southampton
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 per year
Shifts: Night shifts & breakdown response

Join a reputable HGV dealership in Southampton, part of a well-known network across Southeast England. We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic to carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and trailers, ensuring vehicles are safe, compliant, and roadworthy.

Key Responsibilities:

* Service, maintain, and repair HGVs and trailers

* Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and manual checks

* Conduct MOT preparations and inspections

* Repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

* Respond to breakdowns and roadside repairs

* Maintain accurate records and a safe, organised workshop

Requirements:

* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance

* Proven HGV Technician experience

* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

* Flexible, safety-focused, and team player

Desirable:

* HGV Class 1 or 2 Licence

* MOT Tester qualification
