We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join a Blackgrange workshop on a permanent backshift schedule. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician to work in a professional, supportive environment with a focus on high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair.
The Role
As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of our fleet of heavy goods vehicles. You will work independently and as part of a team, ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on HGVs
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
* Work on both scheduled maintenance and urgent breakdowns
* Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards
* Maintain accurate records of work completed
Requirements
* Level 3 qualification in HGV is essential
* Class 1 licence is ideal
* Proven experience working with HGVs
* Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Shift Pattern
* Permanent backshift: Monday – Thursday, 12:00pm – 12:00am
