The Opportunity
We’re looking for a commercially driven and technically minded Sales Engineer to grow our industrial automation business. You’ll be selling a high-quality portfolio of PLCs, drives, sensors, and robotics solutions to both end users and OEMs across a range of industries including manufacturing, logistics, and process automation.
This is a role for someone who enjoys solving real-world engineering challenges while building strong, long-term customer relationships.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Developing new business while managing and growing existing accounts
* Selling automation solutions including PLC systems, motion control, drives, sensing technologies, and robotics
* Working with end users and OEMs to identify opportunities for efficiency, productivity, and system improvements
* Providing technical consultation and solution-based sales rather than just product selling
* Collaborating with internal engineering and support teams to deliver tailored solutions
* Preparing proposals, quotations, and presenting solutions to customers
* Keeping up to date with industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in industrial automation sales, applications engineering, or similar
* Knowledge of PLCs, VSDs/drives, sensors, robotics, or control systems
* Ability to understand customer processes and translate needs into solutions
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working autonomously
* Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) or equivalent industry experience
