Graduate Planning & Development Surveyor

As our Land, Planning & Development team continues to expand, we are seeking a motivated individual to join our Milton Keynes office. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a respected consultancy, working alongside experienced professionals on a diverse range of development projects.

The Role

You will support the Land, Planning & Development team throughout the full development lifecycle, gaining exposure to a wide variety of sites, clients, and project types. Your responsibilities will include:

* Assisting colleagues on land, planning, and development projects from initial instruction through to completion.

* Responding to enquiries, undertaking site inspections, and supporting the marketing of development opportunities.

* Preparing development appraisals, researching planning context, and producing clear, professional reports.

* Valuing and pricing development sites using Argus Developer software.

* Identifying new development opportunities, including standalone sites and land‑assembly prospects.

* Collating documentation, marketing brochures, and information packs.

* Negotiating Heads of Terms and supporting transactional work.

* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, delivering tailored and commercially‑focused advice.

* Contributing to the department’s profile through social media activity, monitoring local plans, and staying up to date with relevant market and planning news.
