About the Role
They are seeking a talented Senior Civil Engineer to lead projects in drainage design, highway infrastructure, and public realm improvements. This senior role combines technical leadership with project management, ensuring creative, sustainable solutions for clients across diverse sectors.
 
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of drainage networks, highway schemes, and public realm projects.
- Provide technical leadership on surface water management, SuDS, and flood risk mitigation.
- Oversee highway design including alignment, junction layouts, and pavement specifications.
- Develop innovative solutions for public realm enhancements, ensuring accessibility and sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with UK standards such as DMRB, Sewers for Adoption, and local authority requirements.
- Manage client relationships and contribute to business development.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
 
About You
- Chartered or approaching chartered Civil Engineer (CEng) or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in drainage, highways, and public realm design.
- Strong knowledge of UK design standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, InfoWorks).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
