TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School based in the outskirts of Pontypridd, who are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant. A setting that encourages personal growth through learning within the wider community and at home, the Learning Support Assistant will be aiding children in developing their personal skills. In the classroom, they have key values such as confidence building and ambition to ensure all children know their potential and work hard achieving this.

The school is looking to take on a creative Learning Support Assistant on a day-to-day basis, with the hope of long-term placement. Looking for a Learning Support Assistant who can work within a Year 2 group setting, the ideal candidate will be able to help children to problem solve and find solutions through education. Helping with delivering the curriculum, the school prioritise education tailored to the natural world and how this affects us! The Senior Leadership Team are dedicated to ensure the successful Learning Support Assistant will be supported and developed from day one.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (Level 2 welcomed)
Education support experience in the UK
Excellent classroom management
Creativity and adaptability to all classroom situations
