Salary: M1 (Inner London Pay Scale, £40,317 per annum)

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, for a passionate and dedicated Early Career Teacher (ECT) – Key Stage 1 to join their team from September 2026 on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT looking to begin their teaching career in a supportive environment, where you will be guided through your induction and encouraged to develop your skills as an outstanding practitioner.

The role:
You will take responsibility for a Key Stage 1 class, delivering engaging and creative lessons that inspire young learners. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, supporting pupils as they develop key skills in literacy, numeracy, and social development.

The school is looking for someone who:

Is an ECT with QTS (or on track to achieve it)
Has a strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
Is confident delivering phonics and early learning strategies
Creates a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
Has high expectations while supporting individual needs
Works collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
