How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Contracts Manager - Drylining
    Location: Maidstone (Office-Based) | Projects across London & the South East
    Salary: Up to £60,000 + Package
     
    Hill McGlynn is proud to be working with a well-established and growing specialist contractor within the drylining sector to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable business with a strong pipeline of projects across London and the South East.
     
    Our client delivers high-quality drylining packages across a range of commercial and residential developments and is seeking a confident and capable Contracts Manager with proven industry experience to oversee multiple projects.
     
    Key Responsibilities:

    Overseeing multiple drylining projects from pre-construction through to completion
    Managing site teams, subcontractors, and project programmes
    Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard
    Building and maintaining strong client relationships
    Monitoring health & safety and ensuring compliance across all sites
    Reporting on project progress and commercial performance Requirements:

    Essential: Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the drylining sector
    Strong knowledge of drylining systems, processes, and project delivery
    Excellent leadership and communication skills
    Ability to manage multiple projects across London and the South East
    Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities What's on Offer:
