We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site / Setting Out Engineer to join a well-established civil engineering contractor on a major infrastructure scheme in Bath. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term contract on a project involving road construction and drainage works.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out accurate setting out for civil engineering works, including roads and drainage
Use of Total Station and GPS equipment for surveying and site control
Interpreting technical drawings and ensuring works are delivered to specification
Supporting site teams with engineering expertise and technical guidance
Ensuring quality control requirements are met and recorded
Assisting with as-built surveys and maintaining site records
Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and design teams
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience as a Site / Setting Out Engineer on civil engineering projects
Strong background in road construction and drainage works
Proficient in the use of Total Station and GPS equipment
Working knowledge of AutoCAD
Valid CSCS card
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
