- We are actively seeking an experienced Locum Occupational Therapist to join a specialist community team delivering high-quality support to individuals with complex health, social, psychological, and housing needs.
The Role:
- Manage your own caseload autonomously from assessment through to intervention and review
- Deliver specialist community-based OT services to adults and families
- Apply key legislation including the Care Act, housing regulations, and moving & handling guidance
- Assess the interaction between health, housing, and social care, including recommendations for adaptations and DFGs
- Provide practical support and advice to service users, families, and carers
- Recommend and arrange specialist equipment with a focus on suitability and cost-effectiveness
- Complete person-centred assessments and maintain accurate records
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners
Requirements:
- Qualified Occupational Therapist with relevant registration
- Strong experience in community / complex caseloads
- Confident working independently and making clinical decisions
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice
