We’re partnering with a fashion & apparel brand to appoint a Part-time HOF. They have been through a period of resizing and are ready to push again, looking at growing their market reach.
This is a brilliant opportunity to work directly with a Founder/CEO, helping shape the financial direction of a scaling, design-led consumer business with an international footprint.
The Role
You’ll act as the number one in finance, owning the full remit while working closely with outsourced providers. This is a hands-on, board-facing role requiring both strategic thinking and execution.
Key areas include:
- Delivering clear, decision-focused monthly reporting & board packs
- Owning budgeting, forecasting & financial modelling across multiple channels
- Managing cash flow, working capital & inventory in a product-led environment
- Partnering with the Founder on commercial decisions, pricing & growth strategy
- Overseeing all finance operations via external accountants (no internal team)
What We’re Looking For
- Proven HOF / senior finance leadership experience
- Background in retail, fashion or consumer brands
- Comfortable operating standalone with outsourced support
- Strong commercial instinct and ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
- International exposure (US/EU) strongly preferred
- Modelling skills and experience with cloud accounting tools
📍 Details
- South London based (2 days per week in office)
- Fractional engagement (~2 days/week)
- Reporting directly to Founder/CEO
- Day rate circa £500- £550
