About the role
A growing Residential Property team is looking to appoint a skilled and motivated Residential Property Fee Earner with 2–5 years PQE. This role suits a professional with a strong grounding in residential conveyancing who enjoys managing matters end-to-end and delivering a high standard of client service.
The role involves managing a varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion. The successful candidate will work closely with clients and third parties, ensuring transactions are handled efficiently, accurately, and with a strong focus on client care.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of residential property matters including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, and lease extensions
- Conducting title checks, drafting contracts, and preparing conveyancing documentation
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors to progress transactions smoothly
- Providing clear, timely legal advice and keeping clients informed throughout the process
- Contributing to team development and identifying opportunities to improve processes
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with 2–5 years PQE in residential property
- Proven ability to manage residential conveyancing matters with minimal supervision
- Strong technical knowledge of the conveyancing process, including title investigation and drafting
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Experience using case management systems is advantageous
