How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About the role

    A growing Residential Property team is looking to appoint a skilled and motivated Residential Property Fee Earner with 2–5 years PQE. This role suits a professional with a strong grounding in residential conveyancing who enjoys managing matters end-to-end and delivering a high standard of client service.


    The role involves managing a varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion. The successful candidate will work closely with clients and third parties, ensuring transactions are handled efficiently, accurately, and with a strong focus on client care.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Managing a caseload of residential property matters including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, and lease extensions
    • Conducting title checks, drafting contracts, and preparing conveyancing documentation
    • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors to progress transactions smoothly
    • Providing clear, timely legal advice and keeping clients informed throughout the process
    • Contributing to team development and identifying opportunities to improve processes


    Requirements

    • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with 2–5 years PQE in residential property
    • Proven ability to manage residential conveyancing matters with minimal supervision
    • Strong technical knowledge of the conveyancing process, including title investigation and drafting
    • Excellent communication and client care skills
    • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
    • Experience using case management systems is advantageous
