We are working with an amazing mental health-based school that are looking for a Mental Health Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP!
They have a full-time role that is based around supporting their students with their social, emotional and mental health needs.
They need hands on support to follow their educational healthcare plans as well as their intervention plans. You will support them through emotional regulation, conflict resolution, support their mental wellbeing and make sure they have the right tools in their tool box to cope in healthy ways.
Many of these students come from tricky backgrounds and have been exposed to adverse childhood experiences that contribute to complex trauma. They need support in the classroom to ensure that school is a safe space for them!
