How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Aspiring Psychologist - Mental Health Assistant

    An amazing school in Oxford are looking for a Mental Health Assistant to join their team!

    This lovely school cater for students who have a primary need of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) but with multiple co-existing needs. Many of the students struggle with communication needs, behavioural needs, social, emotional and mental health needs too. A great opportunity to gain experience with multiple needs across a variety of ages!

    Your day to day in this school as a Mental Health Assistant will be varied, but you will be working with students 1 to 1, hands on, directly in the classroom, supporting them with their individualised intervention plans. These students require consistent, ongoing support in order to ensure they have the highest quality of care and child-centred support.

    The school employ a therapeutic approach so will offer a range of training to the mental health assistant appointed A chance to make a difference where it matters most!
