How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Teacher (ASC & Complex Needs )

    Are you a qualified teacher with a passion for supporting children with Autism and complex needs?

    We are working with a specialist SEN school in Canterbury that caters for pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and a range of complex learning needs. The school is committed to providing a structured, supportive, and highly personalised learning environment where every child is given the opportunity to thrive.

    They are now seeking a dedicated and adaptable SEN Teacher with QTS to join their team.

    The Role:
    As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of your pupils. You will work closely with support staff, therapists, and families to ensure each child receives a holistic and consistent approach to their education and development.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Plan and deliver creative, personalised lessons to pupils with ASC and complex SEN
    Adapt teaching strategies to meet a wide range of learning needs and abilities
    Create a structured and nurturing classroom environment
    Work collaboratively with LSAs, SENCOs, and external professionals
    Monitor and assess pupil progress, setting realistic and meaningful targets
    Support students with communication, social interaction, and emotional regulationThe Ideal Candidate:

    Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
    Experience working within SEN, particularly ASC and/or complex needs (desirable)
    Patient, resilient, and adaptable in approach
    Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and behaviour management strategies
    Excellent communication and teamwork skills
