How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Behaviour Mentor

    Location: Reading
    Start Date: ASAP
    Pay Scale: £89.00 - £100.00 per day

    Are you confident, patient, and passionate about supporting students with behavioural needs?

    Do you have experience working with children who require additional support to manage their behaviour and engagement in school?

    A supportive and inclusive school in Reading is seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join their team as soon as possible. This role is ideal for someone who is committed to helping students overcome behavioural barriers and succeed in their education.

    As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with pupils who may display challenging behaviours, helping them to build positive relationships and develop self-regulation skills.

    This Behaviour Mentor role will involve:
    * Providing 1:1 support for pupils with behavioural needs
    * Supporting students in managing emotions and behaviour
    * Implementing behaviour management strategies
    * Promoting positive engagement with learning
    * Working closely with teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teams
    * ASAP start

    The school is looking for someone with experience in education, youth work, or a support-based role, who can build strong relationships and remain calm under pressure.
