How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Mental Health Assistant
    Location: Bracknell
    Start Date: ASAP
    Pay: £89 - £100 per day

    Are you a graduate looking to gain valuable experience, or an experienced support worker ready for a new challenge?

    A supportive and inclusive school in Bracknell is seeking a Mental Health Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils who may need additional emotional and behavioural support within a school setting.

    In this role, you will work with children who may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, or other social and emotional challenges. You will play a key role in helping pupils feel supported, understood, and ready to engage with their learning.

    As a Mental Health Assistant, you will:

    Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with emotional needs
    Help pupils develop coping strategies and emotional regulation skills
    Support students with engagement and confidence in the classroom
    Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to provide consistent support
    Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
    Promote a calm, positive, and inclusive learning environmentThis role is ideal for graduates in Psychology, Criminology, or Education, as well as experienced candidates with a background in youth work, care, or support roles.
