How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Are you a Stores Co‑ordinator looking for a new opportunity? This company designs and manufactures composite structures in the UK for key customers across the industry.

    The successful candidate will have experience processing material requirements in line with departmental procedures, as well as providing support to the Purchasing and Planning teams.

    Role responsibilities

    Ensure all materials and components are issued to manufacturing efficiently and effectively.
    Complete all paperwork according to the company’s Procedures and as applicable to the task in hand.
    Orderly management of the store area.
    Daily/weekly housekeeping tasks within the store's area.
    Perform physical stock checks in accordance with stock management requirements.
    Liaising with the purchasing department to resolve queries.
    Liaising with manufacturing supervisors and personnel in accordance with company procedure.
    General support to the operations and Planning department.
    Operate within company procedures.
    Safely load and Unload Containers, Lorries, Suppliers/Customers Vans etc using all appropriate equipment as provided and ensuring all relevant instructions are correctly followed.
    Any other duties that may be required, as directed by your supervisor/line manager

    Skills

    Experience using a Stock Management System.
    Qualification in materials handling is desirable, or a proven track record will also count.
    Production-focused with a positive and energetic disposition.
    Disciplined and accurate approach to materials movement.
    Developed an understanding of stock transactions.
    Excellent knowledge of Warehouse principles and experience of working with and/or implementing lean practices.
    Good knowledge of MRP or similar system.
    Qualifications within the Warehousing and Distribution disciplines would be extremely advantageous.
    It will be mandatory to complete EHS training associated with the position
