The job role: what you will be doing
As Distribution Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
* Processing and managing sales orders
* Coordinating shipments and working with freight forwarders
* Handling export and customs documentation (EUR1, COO etc.)
* Working closely with production and purchasing to make sure everything is delivered on time
* Being the link between internal teams and customers when things need chasing or resolving
About you: what we are looking for
To be suitable for the role of Distribution Coordinator, you will ideally have some of the following skills and experience:
* Experience in shipping / distribution / logistics
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment
* Understands how production impacts delivery timelines
* Can communicate clearly with both internal teams and customers
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be advantageous
* Someone confident to chase, challenge and push things through when needed
