Seafreight Import Operator

Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Import Seafreight Operator for a busy well-established Freight Forwarder based in the Egham, Surrey area.

Duties:-

Working to strict deadlines to co-ordinate Import seafreight with end to end responsibility

Seafreight booking and processing relevant documentation including BOL’s.

Customs entries

Dealing with FCL / LCL shipments

Liaising effectively and building close relationships with customers

Quotations

Invoicing clients

Key Account management

Strong ability to handle multiple shipments simultaneously and communicating efficiently to the highest level via e-mail and telephone.

Required Experience:-

* Experience in Import Oceanfreight

* Customer service - excellent telephone manner and communication skills.

* Computer literate

* Highly organised with a systematic approach and detail orientated customers

Working hours are Monday - Friday 9-5.30pm
