How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Digital Content and Campaigns Executive

    Hours per week: Full-time (37.5 hours) Hybrid

    Schedule: 9am-5pm

    About the role:

    As Local Hospice Lottery Digital Content and Campaigns Executive, using your creative skillset you will help shape and deliver standout digital content and campaigns that amplify our brand and drive real, measurable impact.

    From boosting visibility across key digital platforms, to continually optimising performance and user experience, your input will play a vital role in engaging, acquiring and retaining lottery players — helping to generate essential funding for hospice care across the Country.

    Through working closely with internal colleagues and external contacts, you will lead in the creation of powerful, visual storytelling content — owning the journey from concept and planning, through to production, publishing and performance insights. Alongside this, you will also build and deliver bold, imaginative campaigns that enthuse online communities, bring our purpose to life and support Local Hospice Lottery’s wider strategic goals.

    What we are looking for in our ideal Digital Content and Campaigns Executive:

    * A bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent or relevant experience

    * CIM qualification or equivalent certification in digital marketing (desirable)

    * Experience of working within a marketing team environment and confident in creating digital content and campaigns end to end

    * Proven track record in video production and motion graphics including planning/storyboarding, filming, post-production - using applications such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar production softwares

    * High level of IT skills including Microsoft Office packages

    * Good writing skills with the ability to prioritise excellent attention to detail

    * Experience using Google Analytics, or similar data analysis tools, using data to create reports and improve future activity

    * Working knowledge of SEO and digital marketing fundamentals

    * Experience of maintaining web sites and using software such as WordPress

    * Knowledge and understanding of the importance of brand management and the implementation of brand guidelines

    * Able to demonstrate creativity and innovation

    * Comfortable working independently in a fastpaced environment with the ability to prioritise and meet challenging deadlines

    * Excellent interpersonal communication skills

    Also desirable (but not essential) would be:

    * Experience using SLR or Phone camera to produce high quality stills photography

    * Experience of using InDesign and Photoshop Illustrator software

    * Experience of using project planning software such as Asana

    * Hands on experience with email marketing campaigns and using software such as Brevo, Mailchimp etc

    * Knowledge and understanding of the hospice movement

    Own transport is essential for this role – As part of your job role, you will be required to travel to meet with hospice partners.
