About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a secondary school in Crewe. In this role, you will work closely with teaching staff to provide targeted support to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, both in the classroom and in small group settings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people during a crucial stage of their education.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting Classroom Learning:
Assist teachers in delivering engaging, inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all students.
Individual & Small Group Support:
Provide focused support to students who need additional help, helping them stay on track with their learning and achieve their academic targets.
Differentiated Support:
Adapt resources and activities to suit a range of abilities, ensuring all students can access the curriculum.
Behaviour Support:
Promote positive behaviour and help maintain a calm, respectful classroom environment, supporting students with behavioural or emotional needs where required.
Monitoring Student Progress:
Support teachers in assessing and tracking student progress, providing feedback to help inform future learning.
Safeguarding & Wellbeing:
Maintain a strong awareness of safeguarding procedures and contribute to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all students.

A strong interest in supporting students' academic and personal development
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)Desirable:
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Experience working with secondary-aged students
