Tig Welder

Our clients are seeking a skilled sheet metal welder fabricator to carry out all welding / fabrication activities within our client’s business. To ensure production targets are achieved by effective communication, motivation & discipline. Provide feedback to Production Manager & our supervision team to improve our processes & quality control. Ensure the correct quantity of parts are produced efficiently, to a high standard & within estimated times. Promote a safe working environment & ensure Health & Safety procedures are supported.

Core Responsibilities:

* Ensure work centres are operating efficiently

* Ensure ‘Standard Operating Procedures’ are being followed

* Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed

* Assist the production team to develop ideas to reduce waste & increase efficiency through

* Continual improvement

* Manufacture jigs & fixtures as required

* Assist with training requirements

* To be punctual and reliable

* Any other duties as reasonably requested

Required skills & experience:

* TIG or MIG welding experience

* Experience working with stainless steel and/or aluminium

* Able to code, or previous coding would be ideal

Working hours

4 day working week! Monday – Thursday – 7am – 5pm
