CAD Technician

We are currently working with a well-established and growing consultancy who are looking to appoint a skilled CAD Technician to join their team in Bury St Edmunds.

The Role:
You will support the technical team by producing accurate and detailed CAD drawings, working across a range of projects. This role offers the chance to collaborate closely with experienced professionals and contribute to both new and existing developments.

Key Responsibilities:

* Produce 2D CAD drawings from survey data

* Assist in the preparation of technical plans and layouts

* Work collaboratively with surveyors and project teams

* Ensure drawings meet required standards and specifications

* Manage and organise drawing files and documentation

Requirements:

* Proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar CAD software)

* Previous experience in a similar CAD Technician role

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy

* Ability to interpret technical information and survey data

* Good communication and organisational skills

Desirable:

* Experience working within surveying or construction environments

* Knowledge of measured building surveys or topographical data
