How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Are you an experienced admin individual who is keen to develop a career in mental health?

    A part time vacancy has arisen (Fixed Term for 1 Year) to provide a comprehensive and confidential secretarial service to the BaNES CAMHS Liaison Team. This a new post and an excellent opportunity to set up processes with this expanding team to capture necessary data.

    Based in Keynsham, you would be part of a thriving multidisciplinary team who work closely together and support each other.

    You will support the the hospital Liaison Team with administration processes for patients and their parents/carers.

    Administrator main duties:

    > Opening referrals for the BaNES CAMHS Liaison team and allocating to the assessing Health Care Professional (HCP)
    > Entering diary appointments onto the system for assessing HCP with correct time and duration
    > Recording CAMHS Liaison referrals and assessments onto the BSW Waiting List Excel spreadsheet, including updating with required data
    > Formatting assessment letters and distributing to relevant people and uploading to the system
    ​​​​​​​> Performing other general administrative responsibilities including scanning, taking notes, uploading documents and booking follow up appointments

    * Understanding of Mental Health issues

    * Good general education including GCSE in English & Maths

    * Demonstrable experience of office work

    * Word processing/copy/audio typing experience using MS Office applications including Word, Outlook and Excel

    * Ability to confidently use computer software or applications

    * Data entry experience

    * Ability to manage and prioritise own workload

    * Excellent telephone manner

    * Excellent organisational skills

    * Attention to detail

    * Ability to use email and internet proficiently

    * Good clerical skills including formatting and producing correspondence

    * Using filing systems

    * Demonstrable good interpersonal and communication skills

    * Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work flexibly and under pressure

    * Good team working skills

    * Excellent time keeping, reliability and honesty

    * Good time management skills and ability to prioritise workload and demands of role

    * Enthusiastic and motivated

    * Good team worker but assertive as required

    Desirable criteria

    * Previous experience of working in Children’s Services and Previous NHS experience
