You’ll play an important part in fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components to a high standard. We value attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
* Fabricating and welding metal components with precision
* Operating hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment
* Carrying out pipe threading, assembly, rigging, and general mechanical tasks
* Ensuring all work meets relevant industry standards and safety regulations
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Collaborating with colleagues on manufacturing and site-based projects involving structural steel, piping systems, and ductwork
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in fabrication, welding, or a similar manufacturing/construction role
* Ability to confidently read and work from technical drawings
* Experience using fabrication machinery and tools
* Good mechanical knowledge, including assembly and machining processes
* Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations
* Welding certification (e.g., AWS or equivalent) preferred
* A strong commitment to safe working practices and high-quality workmanship
* A positive attitude and ability to work well within a team
