Warehouse Shift Manager - Nights

Location: Wrexham
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Full Time - Nights
Working Style: Primarily night-shift based, with flexibility to cover operational challenges across other shifts when needed, including occasional day shifts to align with site management, mornings, and afternoons.

We are seeking a confident, resilient and ambitious Warehouse Shift Manager to lead our night operation. This role sits above Shift Supervisor level and is ideal for someone who wants to step up and grow within their career.

You will be office-based within the warehouse, highly visible on the operation warehouse floor and trusted to run a safe, efficient and people-focused shift.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, motivate and manage the night shift warehouse team to consistently deliver operational targets
Act as a senior presence on shift, supporting supervisors and keeping the operation running smoothly
Champion Health & Safety as the number one priority across the warehouse
Mentor and develop team members in a firm, fair, and respectful way
Use IT systems confidently to manage admin, reporting and communication
Drive continuous improvement using LEAN principles
Identify opportunities for change and improvement within the first 3 months and contribute to longer-term operational development
Manage customer-related communication professionally, escalating issues appropriately
Remain flexible and solutions-focused, stepping in wherever there are operational issues or challengesWhat We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Warehouse Shift Manager or Senior Shift Supervisor
Strong people skills with the ability to lead tough conversations and maintain standards
Excellent Health & Safety knowledge and mindset
Confident IT user with good administrative capability
FLT experience beneficial but not essential
Experience within FMCG or warehouse environments
Backgrounds from large food, cold stores or manufacturing operations considered
