Our client is currently seeking a committed and experienced Site Supervisor to join their team on a contract basis within the highways sector. The position will be based out of the Dartford depot, with primary responsibilities on-site in Bromley.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervising construction activities on highways projects to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and quality standards
Coordinating with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects
Monitoring site safety and ensuring all safety protocols are strictly followed
Maintaining detailed and accurate site records, including daily logs and progress reports
Managing on-site resources, including labour, materials, and equipment
Ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and authorities
Problem-solving and troubleshooting on-site issues as they arise
Ensuring that all site activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements

Job Requirements:

Experience in site supervision, particularly within the highways sector
Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and site safety management
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Effective communication and leadership abilities
Proficient in using site management software and tools
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Valid UK driving licence

Contract type: 6-month contract
Work schedule: 40 hours per week
