About the role
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Sewing Machinist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality products to specification and within deadlines,
Key Responsibilities
Operating industrial sewing machine (e.g. lockstitch, overlock, coverstitch)
Reading and following patterns, measurements and work instructions
Producing consistent, high-quality stitched products
Carrying out basic machine maintenance and keeping work areas tidy
Meeting production targets while maintaining quality standards
Requirements
Previous experience as a sewing machinist
Ability to work with a variety of fabrics/materials
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
This is working on a temp to perm basis - full time or partime
07:30 start
