Gas Engineer / Plumber

Our client is seeking a skilled Gas Engineer / Plumber to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing ASHP and altering exisiting gas pipework on residential sites. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong Mechanical background and practical skills within plumbing.

Responsibilities:​​​​​​​

* Install, service and repair gas appliances and plumbing systems in accordance with safety regulations and insustry standards.

* Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues with gas lines, pipes and fixtures.

* Operate hand tools, power tools and specialised equipment to complete tasks accurately.

* Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation or repairs.

* Maintain detailed records of work performed for compliance purposes.

* Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organised and safe at all times.

* Assist with assembly of new systems or components as part of installation projects.

* Cover various regions within the UK - open to travel / overnight stays.

Skills:

* Proven experience in plumbing with knowledge of pipework installation and repair techniques.

* Proficiency & competency using hand tools and power tools.

* Strong Mechanical knoweldge to troubleshoot system faults efficiently.

* Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations and interpreting technical drawings.

* Abiloty to perfrom heavy lifting safely when handling materials or equipment.
