Remote is not an option, site visits to schools required each week.
Experience
Proven experience working in a coordinator role within a local authority is essential.
Strong familiarity with:
* SEND Code of Practice
* Children and Families Act
* Relevant education regulations
* Ability to work independently with minimal training, demonstrating immediate understanding of statutory processes and deadlines.
* Technical Skills & Responsibilities
* Experience conducting:
* EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) assessments
* Annual reviews
* Understanding of core local authority SEND processes.
* No specific system knowledge required, but candidates must demonstrate comfort navigating LA procedures.
Work Arrangement & Duration
* Contract Length: 3 months
* Working Pattern: Full‑time
* Hybrid Working:
* Typically 2-3 days per week in the office in line with RMBC policy
* Flexibility required for school‑based meetings and reviews

£200.00 - £300.00 per day
