Role Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Year 5 & 6 Intervention Teaching Assistant to join the team immediately. This is a full-time, long-term role running through to the end of the academic year. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting pupils in Key Stage 2 as they prepare for their SATs examinations, helping to raise attainment and build confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver and support targeted intervention sessions for Year 5 & 6 pupils
Work closely with the SENCO, class teachers, and support staff to implement effective strategies
Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
Monitor, track, and record pupil progress, providing feedback to staff and parents
Use a range of tailored intervention strategies to support learning and developmentBenefits:
