About the Role
As Senior Architect, you will oversee the technical delivery of multiple complex projects, producing detailed construction drawings, ensuring full compliance with Building Regulations and the Building Safety Act, and managing design coordination across consultants and key stakeholders.
This role is perfect for a Senior Architect with strong technical expertise, ready to embrace Principal Designer responsibilities, provide leadership, and mentor junior team members to help grow their capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of detailed, coordinated technical designs to the highest standards.
Fulfil the role of Principal Designer under the Building Safety Act, ensuring safety and compliance across projects.
Act as Lead Designer on multidisciplinary teams, fostering seamless collaboration.
Liaise proactively with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies to guarantee smooth project delivery.
Mentor and support junior team members, encouraging knowledge-sharing and professional growth.
To Succeed in This Role, You Will Have
ARB / RIBA Registration with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in a senior architectural role.
Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant architectural software.
Proven experience acting as Principal Designer and managing complex design packages.
In-depth understanding of UK building regulations, planning policies, and industry standards - particularly within London’s regulatory environment.
Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills to effectively manage relationships and teams.
A collaborative, team-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering excellence.
