How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Title: Account Manager – Asbestos & Compliance
    Location: Leeds (Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days remote)
    Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum

    Overview

    Our client, a well-established asbestos and compliance consultancy, is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their Leeds-based team. This is a relationship-led role focused on managing and developing an existing portfolio of clients, with a strong emphasis on revenue growth and client retention.

    The position is ideally suited to someone who is organised, proactive, and confident in managing client relationships while identifying opportunities to expand service delivery.

    Key Responsibilities

    *

    Manage and develop a portfolio of existing client accounts

    *

    Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers

    *

    Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell asbestos and compliance services

    *

    Proactively follow up on quotations, reports, and recommendations

    *

    Ensure consistent client engagement to maximise account value

    *

    Maintain accurate records using internal systems/CRM

    *

    Liaise with internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery

    *

    Contribute to overall revenue growth through effective account management

    Requirements

    *

    Previous experience in an Account Management or client-facing role (essential)

    *

    Strong organisational and time management skills

    *

    Persistent and proactive approach to managing client activity

    *

    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

    *

    Confident in building relationships and influencing stakeholders

    *

    Process-driven with strong attention to detail

    *

    Commercially aware with a focus on revenue generation
