We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager for an internal fit-out package based in Peterborough, with works due to commence at the start of May and running through to December 2026.
This role will suit a hands-on Site Manager with strong experience delivering internal fit-out projects, coordinating M&E installations, and ideally operating within industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
* Managing day-to-day site operations for the internal fit-out package
* Supervising subcontractors across drylining, ceilings, finishes and joinery
* Coordinating Mechanical & Electrical installations with programme
* Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to required quality standards
* Reviewing RAMS and maintaining H&S compliance on site
* Liaising with client, main contractor and project team
* Monitoring progress and resolving site coordination issues
* Supporting QA, snagging and handover of completed areas
Requirements:
* Proven experience as Site Manager delivering internal fit-out packages
* Strong working knowledge of M&E coordination within fit-out projects
* Ideally previous experience working within industrial environments
* Experience working on fast-track or phased delivery programmes
* SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (essential)
* Ability to work independently and manage weekend operations
* Strong subcontractor management and coordination skills
* Good communication and reporting ability
Working Pattern:
* 5 shifts per week required
* Must work Saturdays and Sundays
* Remaining 3 shifts can be chosen Monday–Friday
