This highly successful organisation is looking for a Software Tester to join an established software development team. The successful Software Tester will be joining a team of developers working on the testing and delivery of applications and sites within various web frameworks.
Skills & Responsibilities for the Software Tester:
Executing test scripts within the schedules agreed and report back on product quality.
Plan, carry out and document the testing of software
Identifying and recording defects
Creating and maintaining test documentation
Work within development scrum teams using agile methodology
Work closely with other areas of the business to understand the system’s functional and non-functional requirements. Job Requirements
Thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and QA’s role in it
Strong background providing manual and automation testing
An understanding of programming languages
A passion for software quality and the testing process
Ideally experience with SQL and databases
